William "Bill" F. Weiss

William “Bill” Weiss, age 88, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2021 after a brief hospital stay. He was born on November 8, 1932, to the late William and Minnie Weiss in Sheboygan, WI. The family later moved to Racine, WI where Bill attended Racine Park High School.

Following high school, Bill enlisted in the United States Army and served in Alaska until honorably discharged. He then attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He remained in Racine and worked for Howard Industries as a Technical Salesman. It was there that he met Joan Parent and the two were wed on August 22, 1957, and had two children, Pamela and Suzanne.

The family later moved to Two Rivers, WI in 1972 where Bill took a sales job at Paragon Electric. He worked there for many years and made many friends. Bill eventually ended his career working for the Internal Revenue Service in Green Bay, WI.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, whether it be deer in northern Wisconsin, Canadian walleye, local duck, rabbit and pheasants, or Lake Michigan salmon. He loved it all. Later in life he took to camping, enjoying the numerous campgrounds and trails the state has to offer with family and friends. The camping stories involving Bill are numerous, wonderful and will always be cherished.

Bill is survived by his wife Joan, his children; Pamela, and Suzanne (Shawn) Hills; two grandchildren: Travis (Jaci) Hills, and Amanda Hills; two great grandchildren; and his sister, Carol Jensen of Racine.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Larry Jensen.

Private services will be held by Bill’s family at a later date. Bill’s family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Hospital in Two Rivers for their care and compassion.
