Wayne L. Frank

Wayne L. Frank, age 82, of Manitowoc passed away unexpectedly at his home Friday morning March 25, 2022.

Wayne was born on October 21, 1939, in Manitowoc, son of the late Erwin and Norma (Brouchoud) Frank. He grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1958 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On October 29, 1960, Wayne married the former Judith G. Van Engen at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Frank family owned and operated Frank’s Radio since 1957 and presently is in its third generation of family ownership. He was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. Wayne enjoyed fishing, riding his bicycle, spending time with his family and his pets.

Survivors include his wife: Judy Frank; his five children and their spouses: Laura (Mark) Meyer, Shelly (Scott) Duellman, Jeffrey Frank (Mike Faggio), Diane (Bill) Manis, Jennifer (Bradley) Fischer, all of Manitowoc; eleven grandchildren: Nicole (Adam) Mixa, Christopher (Jade) Meyer, Matthew (Megan) Meyer, Ashley Duellman, Chelsey Duellman and her fiancé Sean Peronto, Cameron Duellman and his special friend Brynn Tackett, Ryan (Megan) Manis, Steven (Monique) Manis, Nicklas Manis, Kaeden Fischer, Jacob Fischer; eleven great grandchildren; one sister: Janet Zunker, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Erwin and Norma Frank, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jacob and Inez Van Engen; and three brothers-in-law.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. The Rev’s Robert Kujawski and Stephen Melso will officiate with burial of his cremated remains at the Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am.
