Steven H. Awe

Steven Awe age 61, of Green Bay, was called home at the end of March 2022. He was born February 6th, 1961, in Manitowoc to the late Howard Emil and Carole Ann (Rugowski) Awe. He was married to Barbara Lynn Klosinski on August 23rd, 1989, at St. Mary's Church in Manitowoc. He loved playing the drums and played in several small-town bands, and was obsessed with rock from the 70's and 80's.

Survivors include his 2 children, Amber (Adam) Baroun of Whitelaw and Adam Awe of North Carolina. His sisters Patti (Richard) Grimsley of Lexington Tennessee, Barb Awe of Manitowoc, and Lori Awe of Port Washington. He also outlived two other siblings that died at a young age Pamela and Scottie Awe. He also had three grandkids Kylie, Bradley, and Bucklee Baroun. His nephews included David (Bridget) VanGinkel of Two Rivers, Richard (Ashton) Grimsley of Lexington Tennessee, Randy Grimsley of Lexington Tennessee, and Scott Dellemann of Port Washington. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date, with a celebration of life to occur. The family asks for help paying for the expenses instead of flowers. He didn't have life insurance or a savings and due to the circumstances of his passing it’s a struggle. If you would like to help the family out, please send it to Laura Awe 140 N.
