Robert Leo Smaglik

Robert Leo Smaglik, age 88, of St. Peters, MO., died Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, at Barnes Hospital in St. Peters, MO. He was born November 1st, 1935, in Manitowoc, WI. Loving son of Edward and Leona Smaglik (nee: Buretta).

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Marguerite Theresa Smaglik (nee; Liebl), his children Mark (Kristen) Smaglik and Kristine Marie Smaglik, sister Mary Steeber, sister-in-law Ann Smaglik, grandchildren Alley, Jeremy, Julia, and Holly, great grandchild Oliver, and several nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Leona, and his brothers William and Edward Smaglik.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. Rev. Matt Colle will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow at the Calvary Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM on Thursday led by Deacon Mark Knipp. The Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer Funeral Home location is assisting the family with arrangements.
