Rita Frank Obituary

Rita Frank, a devout Catholic and loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend, peacefully went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021.Rita was born on February 4th, 1933 to Neal and Odelia Nicholson of Hartford, WI. She met her life-long sweetheart, Robert Frank, while working at the West Bend Company. They were married on February 6th, 1954 and had six children. They liked to travel and loved spending time with their family and friends. Bob and Rita later made a life in Manitowoc, WI and enjoyed spending time with their neighbors.Rita was a faithful Catholic and follower of Christ. She spent each day in prayer, and reciting the rosary. She had a talent for painting and delighted in watching the wildlife in the backyard. She found happiness and joy in the simple pleasures in life. She was a kind and gentle woman that never forgot a birthday of someone she loved!Rita will forever be loved and remembered by her daughters, Terri Kannel, Bobbi (Bruce) Dautermann, Patti Frank, and Kathi Frank; her sisters, Kay (Jess) Janke, and Mary Jane (Joe) Greatens; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and many friends. She is now reunited with her husband, Robert, son, Joel, daughter, Ann, son-in-law, John, sister, Dona, and many other cherished family and friends rejoicing with her in the arms of God.Memorial services will be held at a later date with inurnment at Calvary Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the donor's choice in Rita's name. The Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc assisted the family with arrangements.
