Judith A. Trochil

Judith A. Trochil, age 72, of Manitowoc passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc.

Judy was born on October 28, 1951 in Manitowoc, daughter of Lorraine Novack and the late LeRoy Trochil. She was a Nurses Aide for many years until her retirement. Judy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and the Prayer Shawl Ministry.

Judy is survived by her mother: Lorraine Trochil, Manitowoc; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Robert Trochil, Appleton, Bill (Candy) Trochil, Manitowoc; one niece: Stacey (Domenic) Bonacci, CA; four nephews: Dan (Kristin) Trochil, Greenville, Kevin (Amanda Menet) Trochil, Grand Chute, Ryan (Nicole) Trochil, Brookfield, Nick (Begona) Trochil, Spain, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her father; LeRoy Trochil.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. Rev. Matt Colle will celebrate the Mass of Christian burial with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday at the church from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. The Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center and her neighbors at home for all the loving care and compassion given to Judy. Also, a special thank you to the medical staff at the Holy Family Cancer Care Center, Judy especially enjoyed the very friendly nurses there.
