John J. "Touche" Kruse

John J. (Touche) Kruse, age 93, died on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his residence.

John was born on January 4, 1929 in Two Rivers, WI to the late Otto & Eva (Morency) Kruse.  He attended local schools in Two Rivers.

Touche worked most of his life sailing for 40 years on the Great Lakes as a cook.  He was a member of the Two Rivers Senior Center.  Touche resided in Two Rivers and Marathon, Florida.

He is survived by one brother: Glenn F. Kruse of Two Rivers as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his grandparents, two sisters Amelia “Gretchen” (Roland “Ozzie”) Christoffel and Suzanne “Susie” Kruse and three brothers Lyle, Kenneth (Pearl) and Gerald (Carol) Kruse.

Per John’s wishes, there will be no services. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers at a later date.
