Jeffrey Tuschl Obituary

Jeffrey Lee Tuschl, age 65, an Appleton resident, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. He was born April 10, 1955, in Manitowoc, son of Annette Rose (Bertsche) Tuschl and the late Jerome Tuschl. Jeff attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School, Clarks Mills, and then Valders High School where he enjoyed wrestling, graduating with the class of 1973. Following high school graduation, he continued his education and graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering. On August 9, 1980, Jeff married Beverly Phillips at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. He was employed with various paper mills throughout his career, working as an electrician and electrical designer. Jeff enjoyed watching Packer games, as well as listening to Brewers and Badger games. He loved listening to Simply Folk on WPR, and especially enjoyed the Shawano Folk Festival. Above all, he enjoyed time spent with his family, playing Sheephead and hockey in the winter and croquet and baseball in the summer. He also liked camping and spending days at Bay Beach. Rest in peace my Jeffrey, you will be missed. Survivors include his wife: Beverly Tuschl, Appleton; his two fur babies: Ansel and Autumn; his mother: Annette Rose Tuschl; three brothers and three sisters-in-law: Michael (Annette) Tuschl, Joseph (Corinne) Tuschl, Christopher Tuschl (girlfriend Kris Kovacic), and Ruby Tuschl; three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Kim (John) Tebo, Judith (Tom) Zipperer, and Diane (Scott) Peplinski; two aunts: Alice Waldo and Pat Ahl; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Richard (JoAnn) Phillips; and four godchildren: Briana Clark, Brandon Barth, Noah Bratz, and Nathan Tuschl. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Jerome Tuschl; one brother: Gregory Tuschl; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: John and Mollie (Fucile) Phillips; four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Arnold Phillips, Ray (Mary) Phillips, John Phillips, and Gerald Phillips; his maternal grandparents: Theckla and Jack Bertsche; and his paternal grandparents: Frank and Ida Tuschl. He was also preceded in death by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.
