Dorothy "Dottie" M. (Wiltman) Krebs

Dorothy M. (Dottie) Wiltman Krebs of Plymouth, changed her address to heaven, her eternal home on May 3, 2022 to join her late husband Ron Krebs who passed away in 2008. She was 87.

Dottie was born June 19, 1934 in Kewaunee, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Jim and Mayme Wiltman.  She moved with her parents to Two Rivers, Wisconsin in 1949.  Dottie graduated from Washington High School in 1952 and moved to Milwaukee remaining there until 2000. She and Ron then moved to Oregon and after Ron passed away, Dottie moved to Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Dottie loved the outdoors, gardening, mowing the lawn, painting, staining and varnishing.  She and her husband worked hand in hand remodeling throughout their marriage. Dottie also loved to travel. She was fond of cats, dogs, birds and the Green Bay Packers.

Dottie was a devoted wife and mom.  Family was very important to her.  When possible, she spent time creating memories. Dottie was blessed with a large family that went unmentioned sometimes but always held near and dear to her heart.

Dottie carried a simple philosophy throughout her life: “treat others as you wish to be treated”. That was the tenet by which she lived her life, never giving up, surrendering, or letting the bad days affect the good ones.

Her children each have a unique personality, each reflecting the best parts of their parents, each carrying on their legacy of unconditional love and acceptance.

Dottie left behind five daughters:  Debbie (Bill) Jones, Cheryl (Rich) Davis, Denise (Ted) Meagher, Debbie (Mike) Groves, Patti (Peter) Punzi; daughter-in-law Beverly Krebs and foreign exchange daughter Ana Valeria Bratkowski from Brazil. Dottie was a proud grandma, great grandma and great-great grandma to far too many to mention.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family and Dottie’s “special “  friends Dave Skarvan and Pam Florian. Along with her husband Ron, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald J. Krebs in 2015; granddaughter Bobbi Jo in 2014 and two brothers, Myron and Eugene Wiltman.

 A service of remembrance will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, May 28 at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services, 123 South Street in Plymouth with Rev. John Schultz officiating.  Family and friends may gather from 11 am to the time of service.
