Dorothy K. (Konopacki) De Roche

Dorothy K. De Roche, age 92, of 920 Shorewood Blvd., Manitowoc died Tuesday evening, July 12, 2022, at Felician Village. She was born April 1, 1930, in Manitowoc to the late Joseph L. and Johanna Malek Konopacki. She graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1948. On October 7, 1950, she married Robert J. De Roche Sr. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, he preceded her in death on February 12, 2007. Dorothy was a secretary at Northern Labs for 14 years and Aitken Reed as an Executive Assistant for 25 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and served as the President of the city and state Catholic Junior League.

Dorothy is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Robert (Susan) De Roche Jr., Manitowoc; Randy (Cheri) De Roche, Mishicot; Reed (Laurel) De Roche, Manitowoc. Two daughters and sons-in-law: Raissa (Fred) Van Serke, Manitowoc; Rhea (Don) Pirch, Mentone, AL. Two sisters-in-law: Alice Konopacki, Manitowoc; Lynette Konopacki, Neshkoro, WI. Eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and the family is awaiting the birth of a great-grandchild. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers-in-law, three brothers, one sister-in-law and three grandsons.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi, Marshall (1114 S. 21st St., Manitowoc). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Doug LeCaptain with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum. Friends and relatives may call from 10:00am until 11:45am at St. Francis of Assisi, Marshall site.
