Dorothy A (Ellerman) Boeckman

Dorothy A. Boeckman, age 98 of Manitowoc died Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Shady Lane Nursing Center.

She was born December 19, 1923, in Abbotsford, WI, daughter of the late John and Rose (Lishka) Ellerman. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1941 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On May 4, 1946, she married Paul Boeckman at St. Andrews Catholic Church, he preceded her in death June 24, 1997. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and traveling.

She is survived by three children: Margie Lawrence, FL, Scott (Denise) Boeckman, Appleton, Mark (Mary) Boeckman, Manitowoc; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Rose Ellerman; her husband: Paul Boeckman; one son-in-law: Chuck Lawernce; four brothers and one sister; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
