Dean Richard Miller, age 55, of De Pere passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Dean was born on December 31, 1966, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, son of Richard K. and Donna J. (Steinbrink) Miller. He grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1985 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. He graduated from the University of Minnesota at Mankato with a degree in Electrical Engineering on a full-ride football scholarship. On August 27, 1994, Dean married Marlene T. Gintner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clarks Mills. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Everett, Washington, where Dean was involved in many successful businesses, two of which were Mukilteo Land Development and the Craftmart Superstore. The family moved to De Pere in 2005 where he owned and operated DRM Developers.
Dean was well known for his loyalty to his family and friends. He enjoyed hosting parties and playing games. He was very proud of his daughters and spoiled McKenna rotten.
Survivors include his wife: Marlene Miller, De Pere; two daughters: Christina Miller, Eau Claire, Rachel Miller, De Pere; his parents: Richard and Donna Miller, Nashville, TN; one brother and sister-in-law: Daniel (Connie) Miller, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Darlene (Keith) Mannebach, Appleton, Joseph Gintner, Reedsville, Michelle (Chadd) Kernz, Manitowoc, Kristin (Bob) Zipperer, Reedsville. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph and Rosemary Gintner.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:15 PM.
