David E. Stage

David E. Stage, aka Eddie Stage, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

David was born July 4, 1935 in Wabeno, son of the late John and Alphilda (Opsal) Stage.  He was a graduate of Wabeno High School with the Class of 1955.  On November 12, 1962 he was united in marriage to the former Dianne Lane.  The couple moved to Two Rivers in November 1965.

David was employed at Hamiltons, Manitowoc Ice and lastly Kelvinator until he retired due to a disability.  He and Dianne lived in Two Rivers for 49 years but he recently resided at Shady Lane Nursing Home where he received excellent care.  On July 16, 2020 he was placed on Homecare Hospice until his death.  David enjoyed woodworking and loved his family and his dogs (Pugs).

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Dianne Stage, Two Rivers; his children:  Brian (Amber) Stage, Ojai, CA and their children Allen and Amber Stage; Susan Myers and her friend Dan Krizizke, Two Rivers and her sons Willie and Joshua Myers; Donald (Brenda) Stage, Lake Havasau, AZ and his children David Stage  (Nicki Fuchs) and Nicole (Jay) Stillman; Patti (Craig) Schrank and her children Olivia (Jeremy) Ryan and Mason (Jacy) Geigel, step children Kayla and Chad Schrank; brother-in-law:  James (Sandy) Lane, Laona; sister-in-law:  Beth Lane, Marathon City; six great grandchildren:  Jayden Stage, Savahanna, Charlotte and Jackson Stillman, Emersyn Cangson, Hudsyn Ryan; one brother-in-law:  William “Bill” Frederick, Germantown; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  David was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald & Vivian Lane, five brothers Rodney, Tony, John, Alfred and Henry, three sisters Mary, Grace and Ester, sisters-in-law Edith, Grace, Dixie, Beverly and Carmel Stage, Cheryl Frederick and Carol Jean Lane and a brother-in-law John Lane.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and a service will be held at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic, Two Rivers on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.  Officiating will be the Rev. Dave Pleier.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 12 noon until the time of services at 2:00 p.m.
