Daniel S. Soto, Sr.

Daniel S. Soto, Sr., 62, of Plymouth passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday morning, April 3, 2022.

Daniel was born on August 18, 1959 in Chicago a son to the late Santos and Emilia (Rivera) Santos.  He attended Roberto Clemente High School.  Daniel was a carpenter working in the building construction trades with various construction businesses in the Chicago and Sheboygan areas.   Daniel had a positive attitude and good sense of humor, always looking towards the good in people and situations.  He was an avid guitarist and many times would jam with his brother on the drums and other musicians.

Daniel is survived by his four children, Sabrina Soto of Chicago, Joshua (Carres Dycus) Soto of Chicago, Daniel Soto, Jr. of Sheboygan and Sheena Soto of Chicago; eight grandchildren; his brothers, Florentino (Annette) Soto of Plymouth, Jesus Soto of Plymouth, Santos M. Soto of Sheboygan Falls, Juan Soto of Sheboygan, Julio (Cassandra) Soto of Sheboygan and Santos Soto, Jr. of Fond du Lac;  his sisters, Florentina Soto of Chicago, Julie Soto of Sheboygan and Neida Soto of Sheboygan; and the mother of his children, Ramona Peralta of Chicago.  Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Emily and Adriana Soto and a brother, Orlando Soto.

A funeral service for Daniel Soto will be held 1 pm, Saturday, April 9 at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Service, 123 South St., Plymouth with Joseph Zenk, Pastoral Minister officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.  A time of visitation and support for the family will be held from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm.
