Arnold R. Belair, age 92, of Manitowoc, died Saturday evening July 23, 2022, at Angelus Senior Living, Manitowoc.
Arnold was born on May 11, 1930, at Porterfield (Marinette County), son of the late Joseph and Anna (Felch) Belair. On January 21, 1950, Arnold married the former Beverly J. Brunelle at St. Williams Catholic Church, Menominee, MI. The couple moved to Manitowoc County in 1964 and Arnold worked for Hamilton Manufacturing for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing, and spending time at his cottage in Beecher. In the past he belonged to Sportsman clubs in both Marinette and Manitowoc County. Arnold was a former member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reifs Mills and current member of St. Francis of Assisi, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife: Beverly Belair, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Ralph (Suzanne) Belair, Whitelaw, Douglas Belair, Sacramento, CA; four grandchildren: Brian (Monica) Belair, New Holstein, Lisa (Matt) Klitzman, Plover, Bob (Sarah) Belair, Cleveland, Laura (Casey) Burkett, Suamico; nine great grandchildren: Katie, Joey, Spencer, Jared, Ryan, Brooklyn, Sam, Lincoln, Lydia; one brother: Gary Weber, Marinette; three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Dennis (Gail) Brunelle, Menominee, MI, Edward (Mary) Brunelle, Menominee, MI, James (Wanda) LaLonde, Green Bay; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Anna Belair; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Elaine LaLonde, Dorothy (Lloyd) Lange; one sister-in-law: Diane Weber.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm -Noon, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi, Grand Ave (1416 Grand Ave, Manitowoc). The Rev. Doug Le Captain will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment at a later date at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm -Noon.
