Arloene H. (Polansky) Temme

Arloene H. Temme, age 86, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday morning, July 18, 2021, at her residence.

Arlo was born on April 29, 1935, in Valders, WI, daughter of the late Clifford and Helen (Torrison) Polansky. She was a graduate of Valders High School with the class of 1953. On July 14, 1956, she married Roger D. Temme at Valders West Lutheran Church. The couple joyfully celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this month. Arlo was employed in the cafeteria at the University of Wisconsin - Manitowoc Campus for 22 years, retiring in 1997. 

Survivors include her husband: Roger Temme, Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law: Terri Temme, Manitowoc, Tammi and Doug Henning, Brillion; two sons and two daughters-in-law: Todd and Mary Temme, Francis Creek, Tracey and Lisa Temme, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Meagan (Travis) Garcia, Collin Bastian, Dylan (Katie) Temme; five great grandchildren: Wyatt, Chelsea, Cole, Quinn and Harper; four step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; four sisters and five brothers-in-law: Dorothy and Jim Neumeyer, rural Valders, Kenny Evenson, rural Valders, Diane and Ron Greuel, Manitowoc, Ginny and Joe Weber, St. Nazianz, Kathy and Greg Delsman, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law: Wayne and Jo Polansky, Louisiana; one brother-in-law: Gene Temme, Florida; two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Voss, Manitowoc, and Ardith Novak, Manitowoc. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arlo was also preceded in death by two grandsons: Blake Bastian and Hunter Temme; one great grandson: Carter Popp; one sister: Betty Evenson; one brother: Jeff Polansky; and four brothers-in-law: Bill Temme, Fritz Voss, Roy (Hack) Novak and Donald Temme.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. Entombment of Arlo's cremated remains will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
