Ann M. Brown

Ann Marie Brown, 68, of Manitowoc passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County in Two Rivers.

Ann was born on January 15, 1955 in Manitowoc to Joseph and Edith (Scheurell) Maples. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Ann was a sewer for Dowco.  Ann enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a strong faith and loved her Lord.

Ann is survived by her daughter: Chantel (Devonte) Shaw; grandchildren: Aaron, Jayvon, Kameron, Logan, and Landon; sisters: Mary Basler, JoAnn LaFleur, and Lynn Maples; and nieces and nephews: Anthony (Nou) Basler, Sarah (Joshua) Kunstmann, Jennifer (Robert) Van, and Jeremiah (Erika) LaFleur. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; son: Christopher Brown; significant other: Howard Shaw; sister: Rita Maples; and two brothers-in-law: James Basler and David LaFleur.

A memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Lakeshore Life Celebration Center (Peace United Church of Christ), 3613 Waldo Blvd, with Rev. Wayne Anderson officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Lakeshore Life Celebration Center from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial of cremains will take place at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
